After removing The Shield's frame from the box, take the first back leg and slide it into the bottom of the frame, making sure the wheel is on the rear side of the screen. Secure into place by using two of the bolts and lock nuts. Tighten until secure.

Rotate the screen and then repeat the process with the second leg. Make certain the leg and frame numbers align. With legs attached, place the frame in upright position.

Screw in the front rods into the upper-left and upper-right corners. Either of the rods fit into either corner of the frame. We recommend that you use a wrench to make certain the rods are snug.

Lift the front hanging net with springs and slide it over the two front rods, matching the numbers on the springs and frame. The net will fall into place, barely touching the ground, covering the metal frame and preventing it from being struck by the ball.
